Anti-bribery Management Systems (ABMS) – Specifies a series of measures to help organizations prevent, detect and address bribery.
What is ISO 37001?
ISO 37001 is designed to help an organization establish, implement, maintain, and improve an anti-bribery compliance programme. It includes adopting an anti-bribery policy, appointing a person to oversee anti-bribery compliance, training, risk assessments and due diligence on projects and business associates, implementing financial and commercial controls, and instituting reporting and investigation procedures.
Why ISO 37001?
The Standard benefits an organization by providing:
- Minimum requirements and supporting guidance for implementing or benchmarking an anti-bribery management system
- Assurance to management, investors, employees, customers, and other stakeholders that an organization is taking reasonable steps to prevent bribery
- Evidence in the event of an investigation that an organization has taken reasonable steps to prevent bribery
